Ger Carriere
Ger Carriere is a Cree high-energy pop-rock artist from Cumberland House Cree Nation, Treaty 5 territory, based in Edmonton, Alberta. Blending pop, rock, R&B and soul with powerhouse vocals and unapologetic storytelling, Ger creates music rooted in identity, resilience, sensuality and becoming who you were always meant to be.
Her breakout single “Can I Be Her” spent 7 consecutive weeks at #1 on Saskatchewan radio, earned a place in the MBC Radio Real People Playoff Hall of Fame, reached #1 on the SiriusXM Indigenous Music Countdown, and earned Ger a SOCAN recognition plaque during JUNO Week 2026. “Are You My Type” followed with six weeks at #1, while “Honeybees” climbed to #5 on the Indigenous Music Countdown.
Ger’s growing catalogue includes the Be Hotter project and singles such as “Touch Me,” “When We Were on Mars,” and her newest anthem, “Legendary.”
